The Cloakroom
A good cloakroom gives your things back to you and nobody else. This page explains how we handle what you leave with us.
What sits on our shelves
- Email, a hashed password, your first name, your birthday, your gender, plus anything you write on your wristband.
- Your chats, and the notes a character holds so she can recall you.
- A session cookie, and one more noting that you got past the door check.
- For payments, the sum and the transfer reference. We never touch a bank card.
- Plain server logs, held briefly for security.
Why we keep it
Everything stored serves three jobs: the chat itself, the house rules and the lights staying on. Our own software, or one provider hired for that single purpose, reads and answers your messages, and safety scans read them as well. Nobody can purchase your chats, and no advertiser gets a glimpse.
Head count
A bare analytics counter tells us how many people walked in and which road they took. It does not look inside your chats.
What you can do
In the chat's menu you can edit what a character wrote about you, save yourself a copy or wipe the lot. To close the whole account, send a note from your registered address to the footer mailbox and it all goes. If the rules where you live give you more, ask and you will get it.
